Loryne Atoui is a Lebanese photographer with a background in graphic design and social entrepreneurship. She holds a BFA from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and has worked in both Boston and Beirut. She is currently based in New York City.
In 2010, she launched the Beirut Street Photographers (BSP) community with a team of talented street photographers as a hub for fostering and showcasing local talents.
Over the past few years, Loryne has organized and taken part in several exhibitions (solo and group). Currently, she is developing her storytelling skills at the International Center of Photography (ICP) and hopes to tell stories that matter through her documentary work.
When she's not getting lost in the streets of New York with her camera, she enjoys traveling and scuba diving with her husband John.
