The Storyteller

FAQ

How far in advance should I book?

Currently, a month in advance is best to make sure I can secure the date you want especially if it's a busier season.

How much of a deposit do I need to put down to secure my session?

I require a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking.

Help! What do we wear for our session?

Something you love and something classic is the best way to go about to ensure your photos look just as good 10, 20 or even 30 years from now! If it's for a family session, I recommend mom (or whoever is hardest to pick for) find her outfit first and then match everyone else in a similar color palette or style without being too matchy-matchy. If someone is wearing a pattern, have everyone else wear more solid colors. I also have a section with tips for styling too and will share some guidelines to help make this easier for you. Feel free to email me too if you are having a hard time narrowing it down. I'm here to help!

So what happens if it rains?

Overcast days are great for photographs but if it's raining out, we'll definitely reschedule to another suitable date for everyone. If possible, I try to reschedule these sessions for a date within 2 weeks of the original session.

What happens if we need to cancel our session?

Sessions are not refundable, but the sum you paid can be used as credit towards the cost of a future session within 3 months of the originally booked session.

How soon after our session will we receive our photos?

It usually takes me 2-3 weeks to deliver your gallery. I may share a few sneak peeks before then too.

How will I preview and select the photographs?

Each client receives their own private gallery with all the best photographs from their session with minor editing (photo retouching is not included). In this gallery, you'll be able to select your favorites and download your photographs. You also have the option to order prints from the website too.

Can I order prints through you?

Of course! I use a client platform that connects your gallery automatically to a professional printer. You can select and order your prints in just one click. You're also welcome to print your photographs anywhere else. Printing your photographs and being able to hold these memories in your hand is such a special experience!

I booked a session with a set number of digitals, but can I purchase more?

Of course! The way I see it, each package guarantees you a good amount of photographs from the session and if you want more, it's just a click away. I currently sell high-res digitals individually or you can purchase all the digitals in your gallery for a lump sum. Please inquire for more details.

• Each packages includes a set number of digital images that you can download from your online gallery. You have the option to purchase more images or the full gallery too. Print products are available a-la-carte, but you are able to print photos at the lab of your choice too.


• Travel beyond 15 miles from Fairfield, CT (06824), parking and any other costs necessary to conduct the session itself (such as renting any equipment) are billed separately from the session fee. Clients are notified in advance of these potential expenses so there are never any surprises.
