Hi! I'm Loryne - I'm a portrait and family photographer based in scenic Fairfield, Connecticut.
I love capturing candid moments between you and your loved ones. My motto is connection over perfection.
My photography journey started over 15 years ago with street and travel photography. In 2010, I founded the Beirut Street Photographers in Lebanon, where I am originally from. In 2016 and after moving to New York City, I delved deeper into documentary storytelling and portraiture at the International Center of Photography (ICP). I fell in love with natural light assisting at the studio of Andrew French in the heart of Union Square.
Over the years, my work has been published and exhibited internationally. Most recently, one of my images received the "Best in Show" title at the annual Focus '23 Photography Exhibition in Wilton, Connecticut.
After moving to Connecticut during Covid (yes, I'm one of those), I shifted my focus to family and lifestyle portraits. I love capturing real, candid moments—never stiff poses or forced smiles. My design background and street photography style help me create images that feel authentic, vibrant, and full of personality.
As a mom to two little ones and a stubborn beagle named Bagel, I'm no stranger to unpredictability —but that’s part of the fun. I come prepared with patience, snacks, and a lighthearted approach so your session feels easy and enjoyable.
