My photography journey began more than 15 years ago with street and travel photography. In 2010, I founded Beirut Street Photographers in Lebanon, where I’m originally from. That early work taught me to slow down, pay attention, and find the story in what’s happening naturally in front of me.

After moving to New York City in 2016, I continued developing that perspective through documentary storytelling and portraiture at the International Center of Photography (ICP). I also fell in love with the simplicity and beauty of natural light while assisting photographer Andrew French in his Union Square studio.

Over the years, my work has been published and exhibited internationally, most recently receiving Best in Show at the Focus ’23 Photography Exhibition in Wilton, Connecticut and a solo exhibition at the Fairfield Museum in 2026.

Today, I bring that same documentary eye to photographing families and people. I’m drawn to the things that make each family uniquely yours - the way your kids move, the expressions that happen when no one is looking, the chaos, the connection, and all the personality in between. I’ll give you enough direction to keep things moving, but I want the photographs to feel like you, not a version of you posing for a camera.

And as a mom of two and of a very stubborn beagle (named Bagel), I know that family life rarely goes exactly according to plan. I come prepared with patience, snacks, and a lighthearted approach - and I’m perfectly happy when the unexpected becomes part of the photograph.
